Retreats & Workshops

We offer the venue for retreats during our off peak season (between October and the end of March/April). During peak season weekends are usually booked up with weddings and holiday-makers. There is occasionally a weekend available during our peak season (April - September) and usually there is availability for midweek retreats too. If there is availability for a free weekend within six months during the peak season, we can be pretty sure it won't be booked for a wedding. So we can then accept a retreat booking.

Facilities

The Corn Barn & The Highland Barn lend themselves to creative, physical and mindfulness retreats. Both spaces are, bright and airy with breath taking views from either the French doors or bifold doors. Both Barns fully accessible. As well as having heating, toilets, sound systems and fully equipped kitchens. On request we can provide a list of excellent local caterers to meet almost every need and both Sainsburys and Tesco deliver here, either to the cottages or Corn Barn. We can also provide barbecues and a fire pit if required at a small extra cost.

Anyone on a residential retreat has the benefit of staying in one of our six converted holiday cottages on site, either shared or sole occupancy. All of the self-catering cottages are fully equipped, with central heating and WiFi. There is no restriction on when the Corn Barn is used either so if anyone needs to start early or work on into the evening … or even settle down for a full night’s meditation … that’s fine!

If all our Cottages and bedrooms are shared we can sleep up to 28 guests and if all bedrooms are single occupancy only we can sleep up to 13 guests. We do also have a few additional sofabeds available.
We are also happy to welcome tents on site and can provide bathroom/kitchen facilities for those who choose to camp.
