The Farm

The self catering accomodation
is in converted barns on our 40 acre farm. The farm is nestled
on the edge of a valley with wonderful views of the Devonshire
Dales. In the fields you will find our herd of small Dexter cattle.
These are dual purpose cattle used for both milk and beef. |
| Around the farm there are usually animals to be seen - Dexter cattle, sheep,
ducks and chickens. Children love the horses and everyone
adores the Rare Breed Pigs, which are often running around
the yard. |

 The whole area is incredible peaceful
and best enjoyed sitting on the swinging bench in the gardens
over looking the surrounding countryside. There are also barbecues
in the gardens for those warm summer evenings.
In the valley we have 14 acres of ancient
woodland with paths running through it and a small river at the
bottom. Even in winter with no leaves on the tree it is still
very beautiful.
